# Cromanion MCP MCP Server

> **Cromanion MCP MCP Server** is a hosted, multitenant Model Context Protocol (MCP) server run by **MewCP** (https://mewcp.com), giving AI agents managed access to Cromanion MCP.
>
> MewCP takes care of all MCP infrastructure for you — credential storage, OAuth flows,
> token refresh, and production-grade auto-scaling — so your AI agents can connect to
> third-party services and run freely without you managing any MCP server yourself.

## About

Cromanion optimizes website conversions through autonomous, real-time visitor analysis and personalized interventions. Configure conversion goals, manage on-site messaging and brand voice, review pending actions, and measure causal impact using controlled holdout experiments integrated with Google Analytics 4 and Plausible.

---

## Details

- Server ID: `cromanion-mcp`
- Version: 0.7.0
- Tools: 29
- Authentication: None — this server takes no credential
- Transport: http

---

## Access

The gateway URL below serves your **entire MewCP toolset**, not this server on its
own. Pasting a config snippet is not enough — Cromanion MCP has to be in the toolset
first. In order:

1. Add Cromanion MCP to your toolset at https://mewcp.com/mcp/cromanion-mcp
2. Nothing to connect — Cromanion MCP needs no credential
3. Copy your MewCP API key from the dashboard (Developer)
4. Configure your client with the snippet for it below

Once connected, an agent does **not** see this server's tools as top-level tools.
It sees four meta-tools and reaches everything through them:

- `search(query)` — find tools by keyword across the toolset
- `get_schema(tools)` — full description and arguments for the tools you picked
- `list_accounts(provider)` — only when one app has several connected accounts
- `call_tool(server_maskedId, tool_name, args)` — execute

So the list below is what `search` can return for this server, not a set of
callable tool names on their own.

---

## Tools (29)

Descriptions are truncated to 160 characters; call `get_schema`
for the full text and the argument schema. Where a tool is annotated, its type
is shown — treat `destructive` as irreversible.

- `cromanion_open_claim` _(write)_ — Start here, and you need nothing to do it — no API key, no human. This call takes no credential and creates NOTHING: no account, no key, no charge. It returns…
- `cromanion_verify_claim` _(write)_ — Redeem a claim once you have published one of its three proofs (a /.well-known file, a <meta> tag, or a DNS TXT record). On success it creates the account and…
- `cromanion_site_status` _(read)_ — Check the site you provisioned: whether the tag is actually live (a beacon received from your own domain, not merely a snippet handed to you), how the crawl is…
- `cromanion_install_check` _(read)_ — Why the tag is not firing. cromanion_site_status tells you `verified: false`; this tells you WHY — fetching your human's own pages and reporting, per page,…
- `cromanion_upgrade_link` _(write)_ — Get a Stripe Checkout link for a paid plan (pro or growth). Returns a URL and nothing else — YOU do not pay and cannot: give the link to your human, who enters…
- `cromanion_errors` _(read)_ — Every refusal this server can return, and what to do about each. Needs no credential — you can read it before you have one, or after a refusal has told you the…
- `cromanion_grants` _(read)_ — List what your human has allowed this agent to do, and what they have not. Read this before assuming a capability — the alternative is discovering your…
- `cromanion_pending` _(read)_ — Everything on this site that is waiting for a decision: page rewrites the agent wants to make, rules it distilled from real sessions, conversions it spotted…
- `cromanion_config` _(read)_ — Everything IN FORCE on this site: the conversions that count, the facts you may state and the ones forbidden, which surfaces are enabled, the brand, and every…
- `cromanion_decide` _(write)_ — Rule on one thing from cromanion_pending: pass its `kind` and `id` back unchanged with a decision. `approve` / `reject` for everything; `pause` additionally…
- `cromanion_set_playbook` _(destructive)_ — Reword a distilled rule, or ask for a fresh distillation. Rules are what the agent learned from real sessions; cromanion_decide approves or pauses them, and…
- `cromanion_ask_human` _(write)_ — Ask your human for something only they can do, in a place they will actually see it. Every other refusal here ends with YOU reading it — a permission they did…
- `cromanion_mark_read` _(write)_ — Mark notifications read once you have passed them on to your human. cromanion_pending returns the unread ones and nothing cleared them, so the queue grew for…
- `cromanion_impact` _(read)_ — What the agent has actually changed: visitors who saw it versus the 10% held back as a control. Read `liftStatus` before reporting anything — `learn` means…
- `cromanion_visits` _(read)_ — List your human's recent visits — each with its pages, how it ended, what Cromanion's agent showed or held back, the doubts it read, and the start of the…
- `cromanion_visit` _(read)_ — One visit in full: the story of each page load, every moment Cromanion's agent looked at the visitor and what it decided, what the visitor actually saw, and…
- `cromanion_live` _(read)_ — Who is on your human's site right now: each visitor's pages so far, what the agent showed them, and its current reading of them. Paid plans only (Pro and up) —…
- `cromanion_set_mode` _(write)_ — Switch the agent on. `learn` watches and shows visitors nothing; `act` lets it intervene in your human's name. `customizeMode` is a separate axis for rewriting…
- `cromanion_add_goal` _(write)_ — Define a conversion to count, or change one you already defined. This is not one more setting: it is the numerator of every impact figure your human will read,…
- `cromanion_crawl` _(write)_ — Re-read the site, and name the pages that matter most so they are read first. You know this site's structure better than its owner does — seeding it is the…
- `cromanion_add_site` _(write)_ — Add another of your human's sites to their account, on a plan that allows more than one. Reaching a site they already own needs no proof — they added it.…
- `cromanion_claim_domain` _(destructive)_ — Claim another host for this site so its traffic counts, or give one up with `remove: true`. A DIFFERENT registrable domain must be proven on its own — publish…
- `cromanion_set_voice` _(destructive)_ — Write the facts the agent may state to visitors, and the things it must never say. Plain sentences, one idea per line; start a line with 'never' to forbid…
- `cromanion_set_surfaces` _(destructive)_ — Choose where the agent may speak and what those places look like: which layout surfaces are enabled, whether the exit modal is allowed, custom CSS, and…
- `cromanion_set_holdout` _(destructive)_ — Set the share of visitors held back from the agent so its effect stays measurable (0.05–0.5). Changing it splits the measurement window: periods either side…
- `cromanion_set_exclusions` _(destructive)_ — Put an excluded device back into the measurement. Your human can mark their own devices as "not a real visitor" so their browsing does not count; this removes…
- `cromanion_set_brand` _(write)_ — Adjust the palette, fonts and button styling the agent paints its surfaces with. The crawl guesses these from a stylesheet; you probably know the real tokens.…
- `cromanion_set_lead_destination` _(destructive)_ — Set where captured leads are delivered: an https webhook, a connected HubSpot portal, or off. Note before you use it: this is the one change that leaves no…
- `cromanion_disconnect_hubspot` _(destructive)_ — Sever the account's HubSpot connection. The other half of cromanion_set_lead_destination's `hubspot` option: you can point leads at a CRM, so you can take them…

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mewcp": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Codex generally reads a standard MCP server block, so you can add this alongside your other configured servers.

1. Open your Codex MCP config or project-level config file
2. Paste the MewCP server block inside the config JSON/TOML structure your tool expects
3. Save the file and restart Codex
4. Verify the tool is available inside a fresh session

### Claude Code

Anthropic's CLI agent

- ~/.claude.json (user scope) or .mcp.json in your project root — create it if it doesn't exist. Or skip the file and use the CLI command below.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mewcp": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Already have an "mcpServers" section in your config? Just add the server entry inside it.

1. Open ~/.claude.json (or .mcp.json in your project root) in a text editor
2. Paste the snippet inside the outer { } (merge with your existing "mcpServers" section if you have one)
3. Save the file and start (or restart) Claude Code
4. Or skip the file entirely and run the CLI command below instead

### OpenCode

Open-source terminal agent

- ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json (global) or opencode.json in your project root — create it if it doesn't exist.

```json
{
  "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json",
  "mcp": {
    "mewcp": {
      "type": "remote",
      "url": "https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp",
      "enabled": true,
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Already have an "mcp" section in your opencode.json? Just add the server entry inside it.

1. Open ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json (or opencode.json in your project root) in a text editor
2. Paste the snippet inside the outer { } (merge with your existing "mcp" section if you have one)
3. Save the file and start (or restart) OpenCode

### OpenClaw

Self-hosted agent gateway

- ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json — create it if it doesn't exist.

```json
{
  "mcp": {
    "servers": {
      "mewcp": {
        "transport": "streamable-http",
        "url": "https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp",
        "enabled": true,
        "headers": {
          "Authorization": "Bearer API_KEY"
        }
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Already have an "mcp" section in your openclaw.json? Just add the server entry inside "servers".

1. Open ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json in a text editor
2. Paste the snippet inside the outer { } (merge with your existing "mcp" section if you have one)
3. Save the file and restart OpenClaw

### Antigravity

Google's agentic IDE

- ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json (global) or .agents/mcp_config.json (workspace-local) — create it if it doesn't exist.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mewcp": {
      "serverUrl": "https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Already have an "mcpServers" section in your config? Just add the server entry inside it. Remote servers must use the "serverUrl" field — the legacy "url"/"httpUrl" fields aren't supported.

1. In the editor's agent side panel, click "…" → "MCP Servers" → "Manage MCP Servers" → "View raw config" (Antigravity CLI: type /mcp instead to open the Interactive MCP Manager)
2. Paste the snippet inside the outer { } (merge with your existing "mcpServers" section if you have one)
3. Save the file — the server connects automatically

### Hermes

Nous Research's CLI agent

- config.yaml in your Hermes config directory (~/.hermes) — add this under a top-level "mcp_servers:" key.

```yaml
mcp_servers:
  mewcp:
    url: "https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp"
    headers:
      Authorization: "Bearer API_KEY"
```

Already have an "mcp_servers" section in your config.yaml? Just add the server entry inside it.

1. Open config.yaml in your Hermes config directory
2. Paste the snippet under the top-level "mcp_servers:" key (merge with existing entries if you have any)
3. Save the file, then run /reload-mcp in Hermes (or start a fresh session)
4. Ask Hermes "Tell me which MCP-backed tools are available right now" to confirm it connected

### DeepSeek Harness

DeepSeek's agent harness

- cordis.yml in your DSH project — or the patch file you mount plugins from.

```yaml
- id: mcp-mewcp
  name: '@deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client'
  config:
    serverName: mewcp
    transport: streamable-http
    url: https://gateway.mewcp.com/personal/mcp
    headers:
      Authorization: "Bearer API_KEY"
```

One plugin instance = one MCP server. Add this entry to your plugin list; don't nest it inside another entry.

1. Open cordis.yml (or your patch file) in your DSH project
2. Paste the entry into your plugin list, keeping the leading dash and indentation
3. Restart DSH (or let HMR reload) — tools register as mcp__mewcp__<tool_name>
4. Verify with: dsh web --dump-config | grep -A3 mcp
